Boulder Junction, Wisconsin



Boulder Junction is the "Musky Capital of the World". A unique little town nestled in the lush forests of far northern Wisconsin, it is surrounded by 194 lakes in a nine mile radius and has all species of fish. You can relax on the beach or by the fireplace, or fish with our guide Jim Stark.

Bike trails, nature trails, canoeing, horseback riding, tennis courts, golf and mini golf are all nearby for 3 seasons of fun.

Winter boasts of hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails and great cross-country ski trails, with downhill skiing only 45 minutes away. Ice fishing time produces some good catches.

There are petting zoos and amusement parks nearby. Movie and live theatre and superb dining will give you great evenings of entertainment.

If the woods is your pleasure, there are wild berries, mushrooms, many interesting Northwoods animals and scenic tours. Autumn is spectacular.

Antique shops, original craft and numerous woodworking shops will hold your interest when you are looking for something for that special person.

Year round events are always fun. Museums, bingo, casinos, and picnic areas are all nearby.

Boulder Junction has sport shops, super markets, churches, flea markets and more. Something for everyone.
